Jubilee celebration is a time to look back and thank God for the abundant grace that God had showered upon the community. Jubilee reminds us the guidance of God in hard times. In these days, as a community we must aim for the fruitful fellowship in Christ. Fellowship and faith must be permeated to the grassroots of the community.
Glad to know St. Thomas Mar Thoma Church Puliyoor is celebrating its 125th year in faith journey. I congratulate Rev. Thomas Varghese and all office bearers who toiled hard for the success of Jubilee. I am happy to know that the Christian faith expressed and nurtured through forefathers have been meaningfully translated to the younger generation at its fullness. Jubilee celebration must be an arena of evangelization, nurturing, dialogue and salvation.
As a faith community our responsibility is to engage qualitatively with the society. Church is to build the Church, the people of God. Church must be the arena of faith explorations. Novel experiences of faith must be extracted through the Word of God. Through the faith in Triune God, the responsibility of the Church is to build the Church, the People of God in relation to God and society.
